Designed by RBB ARCHITECTS, INC. and construction by Millie and Severson Inc., this acute care hospital was Phase I of the Three-Phase Master Plan Implementation completed by RBB. This 175,000 sf Four-Story building was completed in 2005. It has 16 isolation beds, 16 Extra Care surgical beds, and 112 medical /surgical beds. A full-service dietary area in 16,991 sf accommodating storage, freezers, dining areas, food prep, a blast chiller, and offices. Medical records are in an 8,030 sf area. Full-service hospital labs in 9,020 sf including hematology, immunology, pathology, and other lab facilities. Also, there is a pedestrian bridge, pedestrian and utility tunnels accessing other areas of the facility, a morgue, and expansive concrete deck areas and planters.
