Designed by c |a Architects and construction by McCarthy Building Companies, the Hunt Cancer Center will be named after Priscilla Hunt and her late husband, Donald Hunt, who have donated over $34 million to the hospital over the years. The center is a 37,000 sf facility, designed to consolidate and strengthen cancer care in the South Bay is scheduled for completion in June 2019. The center will become the new home of the 50-year-old Torrance Memorial Physician Network – Cancer Care. There will be a private underground parking garage for patients to provide additional patient privacy during visits.
